Varanasi is famous for ghats (steps) along the river Ganges. These steps were constructed during the reign of Mughal Emperor Akbar. There are more than 100 ghats in Varanasi. They are very popular among tourists as well as locals.
Ramnagar Fort
Ramnagar fort is located at the banks of River Ganga in Varanasi. This fort was built by Raja Man Singh I in 16th century. It is also known as ‘The City of Temples’.
